         Chinese Institute of Transportation held the 2022 International Conference and Annual Meeting of the Chinese Institute of Transportation at National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU.) The topic of the year is “Towards a Sustainable and Antifragile Transportation System. (邁向永續與反脆弱的運輸系統)” Researchers and practitioners from maritime, railway, road, and air transportation fields exchange technics and experiences on sustainable development of transportations. In the 2022 annual conference, antifragile is considered to enable the sustainable development of transportation systems. Within proper risk management, antifragile allows transportation systems to perform better under uncertainties.

         The 2022 International Conference and Annual Meeting of the Chinese Institute of Transportation take place from December 1^st to 2^nd. Prestigious researchers Prof. Paul Schonfeld(University of Maryland, USA), Prof. Tadashi Abe(Nihon University), and Professor Steven I-Jy Chien(New Jersey Institute of Technology, USA) presented keynote speeches as the prologue of the conference. Following up were seminars on crucial policies and future tasks in transportation. On the second day, 139 selected papers were given in oral or poster presentations from 186 contributions.
