NTOU & New Jersey Institute Of Technology Sign MOU

      NTOU and New Jersey Institute Of Technology (NJIT) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on March 17th. The MOU provides an overarching framework to encourage international collaboration between research communities of two universities and sets out the principles for developing jointly supported activities. NTOU and NJIT agreed on sending visiting scholars and high-academic-performance students. NTOU looked forward to sending delegation represented by Tai-Wen Hsu, President of NTOU, to visit NJIT this year.

      The delegation of NJIT included Dr. Teik Lim and Mrs. Gina Lim, President of NJIT and his spouse, Dr. Edwin Hou, Vice Dean of NJIT Academic Affairs, and NJIT Alumni Mr. Jordan Hu, CEO of RiskVal Financial Solutions. Since NTOU has paid long-term dedication to fields such as marine engineering, smart ships, and captains, The NJIT delegation showed high interest in developing smart ports through international collaboration during the discussion. NTOU also introduced the Operation Center for Enterprise Academia Networking in the meeting, and led the NJIT delegation to visit constructed structural vibration laboratory, which provides industries vibrating and noise tests through technology support.
